AUSPIN Exploration & Drilling is part of Yuxin Holdings, a growing resources group that includes NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd — operator of the Pajingo Gold Mine in North Queensland. AUSPIN supports Pajingo's exploration and resource development programs, working closely with the site's geology, mining, and drilling teams.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Field Technician to join our exploration team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day field operations, core processing, and data collection to ensure high-quality geological information is captured in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with field-based exploration activities and sampling programs
• Perform core handling tasks including mark-up, orientation, RQD logging, photography, cutting, and sampling
• Provide logistical support to drill crews
• Safely operate field vehicles and participating in vehicle recovery when required
• Maintain organised field records, logs, and sample documentation
• Support general field duties and equipment upkeep

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working in an exploration or mining environment
• Demonstrated competency in core handling and processing
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Competency in motor vehicle operation and recovery
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
• Ability to work in remote locations and in varying outdoor conditions
• Understanding, awareness and compliance with Stakeholder, Environmental and Cultural conditions.
