Barto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, one underground mine, and two open pit mines. Additional underground and open pit mines are started late 2024 and into 2025 as part of the companies 5-year plan and a vision to reach 150,000oz/pa gold production by 2029

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Camp Manager to join our team and support the daily operations of our camp. Working closely with the Camp Manager, you will help oversee accommodation, catering, facilities, and site services to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all personnel. This will be a permanent role offered on 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rosters of your choice, BIBO from Perth or DIDO option available as well.

Essential duties:

• Experience in supervising small to medium teams
• Sound computer experience with Microsoft office and ordering systems (SAP).
• Experience in camp/hotel management system
• Assist in overseeing the day-to-day camp operations
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational policies
• Assist with logistics, scheduling, and activity coordination
• Handle rostering, scheduling, and logistics for staff and site personnel
• Oversee stock control, procurement, and facility maintenance

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in mining industry on the similar position for camp management
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
• Must have knowledge and skills of an accommodation reservation systems including INX
• General computer skills and intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word/Outlook)
• Oversee stock control, procurement, and facility maintenance
• Excellent presentation and phone manner and communication skills
• Great leadership and conflict management skills
• A minimum “C” class drivers’ license
• Ability to work under pressure
