Corporate Receptionist / Administration Officer

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Manager Human Resources and Director, VP, this role is responsible for delivering professional front-of-house service and high-level administrative support across the Perth office.

You will represent Barto Gold Mining’s values and culture, ensuring all employees, visitors, and stakeholders receive a warm and professional welcome.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls via the corporate switchboard (PABX).
  • Manage meeting room bookings, mail, couriers, and deliveries.
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to senior management (Chairman, CEO, COO).
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and meeting arrangements.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, equipment, and consumables.
  • Support office maintenance, safety procedures, and security access controls.
  • Assist with document control, company event coordination, and petty cash management.

 

About You

You’ll bring professionalism, attention to detail, and a friendly, solutions-focused attitude. You’ll enjoy variety in your day and take pride in creating a polished and efficient office environment.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma in Administration (desirable).
  • 3–4 years’ experience in a corporate reception or administration role.
  • Confident managing a corporate switchboard.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting senior executives with travel and diary management.
  • Current WA Driver’s Licence.
