Barto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, three active underground mines, one active open pit, with new mines started in 2024 and planned to start in 2026 as part of the companies 5-year plan and a vision to reach 150,000oz/pa by 2028.

This is an exciting time to join the company as we pave the way for future growth. This will be a permanent role on 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster, BIBO from Perth or DIDO option available.

About the role:

The Electrician/Refrigeration Mechanic reports to the Camp Manager and conducts preventative maintenance, statutory inspections, repairs, installation, and other tasks associated with the electrical and refrigeration maintenance of the camp and site facilities. Essential qualifications include:

· Current manual driver's licence

· Electrical Trade Certificate

· Current Electrical Licence

· Refrigeration Trade Certificate and refrigeration license RAC endorsed

· 2-3 years experience with domestic and commercial electrical and refrigeration, including air-conditioning, ice machines and cold rooms

· Experience in commercial kitchen and laundry equipment - desirable

· Experience with installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance

· Experience with reporting, completing electrical logs, and working on a work order system

· Hazard identification and risk assessment

· Familiar with Australian Standards

· Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawing
