Barto Gold is a privately owned Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. With its flagship project located at Marvel Loch in Western Australia, the company holds a tenement package in excess of 1,400km2 with significant exploration investment, 3 current open pit mines and 3 underground mines, it is an exciting time for the company.

To support us on our journey, we are seeking to recruit a Safety Administrator to join our busy Southern Cross Mining Operations.

Brief Role Summary:
The Safety Administrator, will report to the Alternate Safety Manager and will be responsible for ensuring effective administration support to the HST Department. Duties include but are not limited to working with INX for employees and contractors, accounts documentation, invoicing, PO's and reporting requirements. There will also be allotted time working with the Hygiene team assisting with Hygiene sampling and Respiratory and Hearing Fit testing, This position will be offered on an 8 days on 6 days off all dayshift bus in bus out basis from Malaga or Midvale in Company time.

This is a site based role.

About you:

• Valid National police check or willing to obtain
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word/Outlook)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• SAP system knowledge is preferable but not essential.

 Essential:

• Minimum of 2 years site mining industry administration or similar experience in the Mining industry
• Experience with using INX or similar HSET software
• Experience with SAP system or similar accounting program in the procure-to-pay cycle, accounts checking and receipting, and cost control functions.
