Barto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, one active underground mine, two active open pits, with new mines started in 2024 as part of the companies 5-year plan and a vision to reach 150,000oz/pa by 2028.
About the role:
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the electrical and instrumentation systems and components at Southern Cross Operations' Processing Mill and its surrounding work sites in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and health and safety regulations. Responding efficiently and effectively to breakdown situations and assisting in ensuring production targets are achieved. This is an exciting time to join the company as we pave the way for future growth. This will be a permanent role on an 8/6 roster, BIBO from Perth or DIDO option available.
About you:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience on a site fixed plant with electrical experience.
Essential qualifications include:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Current WA Electrical Licence
- Minimum of 2 years mine site fixed plant electrical experience
- Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship electrical work experience
- High Voltage Switching Qualification
- Working at Heights Ticket

- Elevated Work Platform Ticket
- Forklift Ticket
