BARTO GOLD MINING
Barto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. Located in the Goldfields region of WA, Southern Cross Operations is the flagship operation for the company and holds a tenement package in excess of 1,400km2 with significant exploration potential. The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, three active underground mine, two active open pits and new opportunities on the horizon. The existing process plant is approximately 30 years old and consists of a new three-stage crushing circuit, three ball mills and a conventional CIL circuit.

About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Process Manager is responsible for managing all processing and maintenance activities within the processing department, providing leadership and direction within the department in line with the site requirements, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the mill at all times. This role is accountable for achieving steady-state operations in line with production requirements and targets.
The role is offered on an 8/6 BIBO from Perth.
About you:
- Proven experience in gold processing, including 5+ years' experience at a managerial level with a passion for leading and developing a high-performing site team.
- Demonstrated leadership skills that inspire trust, engagement, and consistent performance.
- Experience in creating a stable team culture through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee development.
- Strong working knowledge of gold processing with a high degree of practical understanding of mineral processing
- Strong knowledge and understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting
- Delivering results and driving productivity
- High-level skills working with Microsoft Office, namely: Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
- Incident investigation (ICAM or similar), team-based risk assessments
- Experience with SAP (Essential)
Essential Skills:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy or equivalent, or progress towards obtaining Frontline management diploma or equivalent
- Strong technical knowledge and skillset supporting processing operations
- A high degree of operational experience with strong leadership skills supported by technical knowledge gained within an Australian mining environment
- Project management skills
