Barto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, one underground mine, and two open pit mines. Additional underground and open pit mines are starting late 2024 and into 2025 as part of the companies 5-year plan and a vision to reach 150,000oz/pa gold production by 2029.

About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager (Senior Site Executive), the Supply Superintendent is responsible for providing strategic and line management to the onsite Supply function including purchasing, logistics and warehousing. Growing and improving vendor relationships is vital. This will be a permanent role offered on one of the below rosters of your choice, BIBO from Perth or DIDO option available as well.

• 8 days on 6 days off

About you:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of eight years’ relevant experience, previous experience in operating and leading a mine site warehouse.

Duties include:

• Logistics and freight management planning 
• Controlling inventory of stores
• Reporting stores data
• Leading stores personnel
• Warehousing including organising effective stocktaking
• Inventory management including cataloguing and material master management
• Maintaining vendor relationships and seeking alternative supplier or supplier discounts
  
  Essential qualifications include:  
• Relevant qualifications in Supply, Logistics, Warehousing Operations
• Current WA Driver’s License, Forklift and LR license
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Previous experience using SAP ERP Software with expertise in Materials Management module
