Barto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, 3 underground mine, and two open pit mines. We are seeking a Project Superintendent to provide strong, owner-led leadership across processing plants, infrastructure, tailings, water, and site facility projects in a live operating environment.

About the Role

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of approved capital and sustaining projects
  • Provide visible safety leadership and strong contractor management
  • Develop clear scopes, execution plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Manage Project Engineers, Project Supervisors, and contractors
  • Control cost, schedule, and change through disciplined governance
  • In addition to brownfields delivery, this role will support future Greenfields project development and execution.
  • Lead commissioning, handover, and close-out to operational readiness standards

This is a hands-on leadership role, focused on project planning, execution, safety, and predictable delivery.

About You

  • Proven project and construction leadership experience in mining, processing, or heavy industry
  • Strong contractor management and site execution capability
  • Mechanical construction leadership or multi-discipline (civil/mechanical) experience
  • Strong safety and risk management mindset
  • Comfortable working in live, brownfields operating plants

Desirable:

  • Experience in gold processing plants, TSF, or site infrastructure
  • Capital cost control, forecasting, and change management experience
  • Strong commissioning and operational handover capability
