We are currently seeking a motivated and highly organised Underground Mining Administrator to join our dynamic underground mining team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting operational teams to ensure smooth and efficient of the Underground Mining Operation.
As the Underground Mining Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting site operations, workforce coordination, and compliance reporting within a fast-paced underground mining environment.
This position will be offered on a Back-to-Back role 8 days on 6 days off all dayshift bus in bus out basis from Malaga or Midvale in Company time.
This is a site-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Mining team
- Manage site entry processes and mobilisation for personnel within the department
- Maintain and track daily frontline attendance, including validation of times and records
- Record and reconcile planned and unplanned absences
- Raise, process, and track purchase orders in line with company procedures
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding purchase orders and invoices
- Maintain accurate operational, production, and compliance records
- Prepare routine reports and assist with data entry and documentation
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and internal communications
- Support workforce administration activities and general administrative duties as required
- Provide support to other departments as required
About You:
- Previous experience in an administrative role (mining desirable)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Exposure to SAP and INX,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
