BARTO GOLD MINING

Barto Gold Mining is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The Southern Cross Gold Operation (SXO) is a producing gold asset situated in Western Australia, located 375km east of Perth, 235km west of Kalgoorlie and 32km south of the town of Southern Cross.  The Southern Cross operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, two active Underground mines, one active Open Pit with the annual production of 80k oz. The 5-year plan has a production target of over 500,000 ounces.

We are currently hiring Underground Truck Drivers for our mining operation.  These are permanent roles on a 2-week-on, 2-week-off roster, with a BIBO from Perth or DIDO option available.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following

 

 Experience

  • Minimum 1 Year experience driving trucks underground - Atlas Copco 6020 and 5010 an advantage
  • Demonstrated awareness of the Work Health and Safety Act demonstrating a commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum "C" class unencumbered drivers' licence.
  • Previous underground truck operating experience (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills
