NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is an Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer operating locally in Northern QLD Since 2009. Southwest of Townsville, the Pajingo mine is around 50km from Charters Towers and currently employs around 250 people to run the underground mining, open cut, and ore processing operations. Charters Towers is close to Townsville and the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, offering the charms of regional living with the added bonus of a Capital City close by. 
NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is seeking a number of local or DIDO based (Northern QLD) diesel fitters for our Pajingo Mine Operations. 

The role is a permanent position on a family friendly 7/7 Roster, with meals and accommodation provided. Quarterly bonuses on offer also.

Essentials:

• Be Trade Qualified - Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or Cert III Engineering Mechanical 
• 2-3 years experience 
• Possess a current driver’s license (Manual) 
• Demonstrate experience in maintaining Elphinstone LHDs, Sandvik Drills, Atlas trucks & Caterpillar & Ancillary Equipment
• Have a genuine enthusiasm for the role
• Possess an excellent work ethic
• Have a good attendance and safety record
• Have the ability to think logically to solve problems
• Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently without supervision
• As part of our process you will be required to complete pre-employment checks; medical which includes a drug and alcohol screen and obtain a police clearance.
