The Role
Based in our Townsville corporate office, this role provides vital support to our corporate functions and operations. We’re seeking a professional, organised, and friendly Office Administrator / Reception to be the welcoming face of our business, managing a broad range of administrative and coordination duties — from greeting guests and managing calls to assisting senior management with travel bookings, diary management, and event organisation.
Flexibility is important, as you may occasionally be involved in activities outside regular business hours, such as greeting VIP visitors and assisting with company functions and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming experience
- Answer and direct incoming calls via our corporate switchboard
- Manage mail, couriers, and office supplies
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and staff movements
- Provide administrative support to senior management, including travel and diary coordination
- Maintain office security, access cards, and common area upkeep
- Assist with event organisation, document control, and ad-hoc projects
About You
You’re a bubbly, proactive Receptionist or Office Administrator who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. You’re confident with Microsoft Office, have excellent communication skills, and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in reception or administration, with a strong customer service focus
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience operating a corporate switchboard (or similar)
- Professional presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional after-hours commitments
