We're seeking an Apprentice Underground Electrician to join our high-performing maintenance team at Pajingo Mine. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic underground mining environment where safety, teamwork, and operational excellence are at the heart of everything we do.
Working on a 4 days on / 3 days off (12 hours) roster, you will undertake training (both practical and theoretical) leading to qualifications as an UG Electrician.
About the Role
Reporting to the Underground Electrical Supervisor, you will:
• Assist with inspections, services and repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete assigned work and associated paperwork.
• Ensure all required apprenticeship paperwork and logbooks are maintained and kept up to date.
• Attend all off-site apprenticeship training.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting potential hazards and eliminating risk taking behaviours or actions.
• Ensure good clear communication lines within team and with other sections/departments.
• Ensure compliance with environmental procedures and standards.
• Always maintain the highest standard of housekeeping through continuous review and management of work area daily.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work safety, practices, and procedures.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Completion Year 12 schooling (preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills at all levels.
- Effective Communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work safely at all times
- Ability to learn and pick things up in a timely fashion
- Strive to deliver Results and Expectations
