NQM Gold 2 is seeking an experienced and influential Health, Safety, Environment, Community & Training (HSECT) Manager to join our senior leadership team at the Pajingo Gold Operation.
Working a 12 days on, 9 days off roster, this pivotal role reports directly to the General Manager and provides strategic leadership across health, safety, training, environmental and community functions. The position offers the opportunity to influence site-wide performance, strengthen safety culture, and drive continuous improvement across our operation.

About the Role
As the HSECT Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and provide strategic guidance across health, safety, training, environmental and community functions. You will work closely with site leadership to strengthen risk management, improve safety performance, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements and company standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the site HSECT team
- Driving the implementation and continual improvement of health and safety management systems
- Managing safety compliance, risk management and incident investigation processes
- Overseeing training and competency frameworks across site
- Leading emergency response, medical and injury management programs
- Building effective relationships with regulatory authorities, contractors and community stakeholders
- Providing strategic advice to senior leadership on HSECT matters
- Managing departmental budgets, plans and performance outcomes
- Promoting a positive safety culture through visible leadership and accountability.
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
Essential Qualifications & Licences
- Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- ICAM Lead Investigator qualification
- Current Manual Driver's Licence
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Essential Experience
- 8+ years' experience in Health and Safety
- 5+ years' experience within Underground Mining
- Extensive experience in safety compliance, risk management and HSE leadership
- Experience leading teams in a mining environment
- Strong knowledge of relevant mining and workplace health and safety legislation
- Experience managing workers compensation and injury management matters
- Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
