We're looking for an experienced Jumbo Operator to join our underground mining team on a 6-month contract.

This role is responsible for development drilling, ground support installation, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently to support production targets.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating underground Jumbo equipment
  • Completing development drilling activities
  • Installing ground support
  • Conducting scaling and associated underground tasks
  • Completing daily paperwork and production records
  • Following all safety and environmental procedures
  • Working closely with Supervisors and the broader mining team

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of underground mining experience
  • Previous Jumbo operating experience
  • Competency in underground development drilling and ground support installation
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently when required
