We're looking for an experienced Remote Loader Operator to join our underground mining team on a full-time permanent basis.
This role is responsible for development drilling, ground support installation, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently to support production targets.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure safe and efficient remote bogging of ore in unsupported ground
- Ensure safe and efficient conventional bogging of ore and waste drives
- Tele-remote recovery of Boggers
- Complete assigned work and associated paperwork
- Establish and maintain the highest possible standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in individual work areas and on the company’s property generally
- Ensure compliance with environmental procedures and standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work safety, practices, and procedures
- Ensure good clear communication lines within team and with other sections/departments.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of underground mining experience
- Previous Remote Loader operating experience
- Manual and Check Scaling Competency
- A proactive approach to safety through positive leadership
- a strong commitment to safe working practices
- Ability to work well within a team
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently when required
